Cinco de mayo

In Latinx culture, we see a lot of vibrant colors. The vibrancy of attire and culture could almost be seen as a parallel. This artifact expresses the joy of celebration and tradition.  Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of the Mexican victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. The colors red and white which mirror the Mexican flag represent unity, purity and religion, and the blood of the national heroes.
