LAUP History

Theme

LAUP has been a staple of the greater Holland Communities for decades. Their outreach and growth has continuously been through public, cultural events. These events are dynamic and intentional using varied methods all connecting back to their Latin heritage. The festivities highlighted below demonstrate these cultural practices through LAUP’s community events.

This digital exhibit is made possible by a partnership with the Hope College Van Wylen Library, members of the Fall 2021 IDS395 cultural heritage course, Joint Archives of Holland, MI, Holland Museum, and the Latin Americans United for Progress (LAUP).
