Lupita Reyes Presents to Ottawa County

On behalf of the Ad Hoc Committee of Concerned Citizens of Holland, Lupita Reyes presented to the Ottawa County Board of commissioners on April 11th, 1978. This document is a transcript of her presentation to the board. Reyes outlines action items for the Board of Commissioners to complete in order to improve their relationship with the Latinx population of Ottawa County.

"We are here today because of the derogatory statements made by you, Chairman Raak, (and other members of this Board), at your March 16th meeting, in reference to the Latino citizens of this County. We are not here to crucify Kenneth Raak the man, but rather.
